Recipes and Instructions for the Living Foods Lifestyle

by Hiawatha Cromer

What is Living Food?

Why is it necessary to incorporate the Living Foods Lifestyle in one's life?

Living food is nourishment that is easy to digest. This nourishment is provided through the use of seeds, nuts, grains, fruits and vegetables, prepared by various techniques that are simple and inexpensive. These include blending, fermentation and the use of sprouting and growing greens indoor.s Living food is an energy provider that has the ability to do two things: First, it cleanses the body of toxins that have accumulated through our lifetime from a poor education and misunderstanding of quality nutrition as well as from poor eating habits and environmental factors. The second ability of living foods is to rebuild our body in a natural way, thus returning to the quality of life our Creator intended for all to enjoy -- total health and well-being.

Nourishment that is easy to digest also strengthens the immune system against various hazardous conditions that we cannot avoid being exposed to such as acid rain, ozone conditions, lead pollution from automobiles, and extreme heat that promotes the multiplication and mutation of dangerous germs from unhealthy environments.

Living food provides the body's cells with nourishment for self-healing. The Living Foods Lifestyle helps one reconnect with nature and creates a confidence and self-responsibility for one's own life. By adopting the Living Foods Lifestyle, one can provide a sense of freedom from addictions of various sorts -- food, drugs, alcohol and sex -- with which our society now suffers due to various unbalanced states of body and mind.

The Living Foods Lifestyle replaces the present, deteriorating health and mind conditions that are currently termed "incurable" with important, energy-giving nourishment for building health and self respect.

Blending for Better Digestions

Because of the severe digestive problems that 90% of us are facing as a population, it is imperative we have means to help our body assimilate nourishment.

Blending is a fabulous solution for our digestive problems.

Blending is the easiest and most efficient way to provide food that is both nourishing and easy to digest. By blending foods, we can counteract the poor eating habits most of us have developed over the years; habits that are the cause of many of the physical problems we have.

It has long been known that what we eat directly affects our health. The average American diet consists mainly of processed foods that are high in fat, cholesterol, salt and sugar, and low in fresh fruits and vegetables and whole grains. Eventually, this type of intake leads to digestive troubles, obesity, heart disease and cancer, as well as nutritional deficiencies that cause a host of problems of their own.

Blending is equally appropriate for people who are ill and people who are healthy. If you are ill, blending your food will relieve your body of some extra efforts required for digestion, so this energy may be better spent on healing.

Blending with rejuvelac prevents the loss of vitamins because the high vitamin E content in rejuvelac acts as an anti-oxidant. Blending is a means to help us chew our food in order to make it digestible because no amount of chewing can really provide us with the level of digestibility as does blending, especially when blending with rejuvelac, which contains a very high level of enzymes.

Blending reduces the need for food combing, since the food becomes pre-digested.
